downloading iGO R3 NQ 2012.Q3 Full . whats the new function? good idea?

i backup gps file to computer that works with old map
i downloaded new maps iGO R3 Navteq US-Canada 2012.Q3 but when i put that maps it shows error software not found.
i have indash navigation. i am on 8.3.4.102680..

what should i do so new map works.

I decided to download a copy of IGO8 off this site and install it on an SD card to see if it would solve the problems I am having with my Nav system freezing using an older version of IGO8.

i have an Igo8 7'' Car DVD GpS and it was going good than suddenly it crashes and says

i open my sd card on pc but cant find the file .. there is IGO.exe
ihave the maps ... ihave tryed the memory card in another GPS and it works ....

Hi All

I am using IGO Primo 2.4 with the DiMKA skin and have enabled the voice speed camera warnings.

When I approach any traffic light cameras the Primo says 'warning Building Speed Camera xxx yards, limit xx'

I have never heard of a building speed camera, which I guess would be better saying 'Traffic Light Camera' or something similar.

Is it possible to edit the text to what I want it to say as ...

My father in law is visiting us this weekend and bringing with him his Tomtom unit. i have googled his model number and found out he has a 'One third edition' model.

I would like to wipe this if possible and load either IGO8 or IGO Primo on it for him.

Does anyone know if this is possible and if so, how is it done.

Is there an emulator that will allow us to run the program on the P.C.?
I need to change some school Zones and add some cameras and doing this in the car just runs down the battery. Changing things would be a lot easer on the P.C.
I found a Windows CE 5.0 Emulator on the Microsoft web ...

Is there a way to set the school zones alert to certain times of the day? I want to set the school zones up so they only alert me between 8am – 9.30am and 2.30pm – 4pm.
I also would like to change the warning distance before a school zone as it does it far too early.

I am hoping someone here can help me out. I tried searching 1st but don't see an answer so...

I am having a real problem with IGO8 and it crashing on me. I have updated it with what updates are avilable for my Nav unit as well as getting the newest maps. That eliminated 2/3 of the crashing problems( fixed crashing at the startup ACCEPT screen 50% of the time and freezing up mid route ...

When going to Map settings -> Place markers, then Favorites is always preselected. How can I disable it? I want to have many favorites but I do no want them to be shown on the map.
