I am looking for poi icons for north america, I can see the menu on my gps but says no entries. try to search by name and still nothing found. Igo 8.3 on wince 6.0 any help would be great. need to see fuel stations and other interesting points while traveling.

I am back from a week vacation which I spent partly driving around. I made a 2K km trip trough Germany using my Windows CE device (with my Android phone as a spare), on it Primo 9.6.13.4055212, diMKa diMkaWA_P171 GpsForum.W.480 skin, latest Europe TT maps and latest SCDB fixed and mobile speedcams.

The verdict:

1. Primo proved itself capable and very stable. I had some minor issues though, that could be related to the skin ...

I run Igo primo on my S100 multimedia unit in Egypt

all maps versions I had downloaded for Igo or Naviteq aren't good enough for Egypt in compare to Google maps on androids

is there anyway to put a programs runs with google maps or convert google maps to Igo ??

I'm about to setup a new GPS and I would like to transfer the route history information from my old gps to the new GPS. Both are running Primo. I'm guessing that the information is somewhere in the "Profile" folder, but I would like to know specifically which file, because If I transfer the entire profile folder, the odds are high that the gps will crash at startup. Anyone know, for sure, which file contains ...

We have some demands for it, which shall work.

maybe someone knows this... i tried everything with no luck,,

i just dont want the "offer freeway services" on my map appearing when driving,,,

in the Visual Guidance Settings, i unchecked "offer freeway services" ,,,

but they still appear on my map while im driving,,,,

is there a setting in the sys.txt i can play with to disable them from appearing??

I am using primo2.4 ver 9.6.13.405512.

If i load the diMka_WA_P174 skin and then go to settings/map settings/place markers to set the POI's, as i scroll through the place markers then once i have scrolled two pages on selecting the third page i get the message "failed to open POI_MAPCLOSE.spr exiting application".

If i do not load a skin, or i load the "Decent color ver 6.5.1" skin this does not happen.

Can anyone tell ...

Is it possible to create your own alert points? Obviously speedcam etc is already there, but I would like to add some others that aren't POI's.

my trusty binatone died (screen blank) so got hold of a Chinese mediatek gps on the cheap running igo

igo8 doesn't route me properly for truck use and was running primo2.4 of here on my binatone, so deleted igo8 off the Chinese gps (backed up first) and then put primo2.4 (one that I was running on binatone, minus save file) on the mediatek, so far so good, re did navpath and primo started, went through ...
