I have a Rosen Nav G1. I am trying to update the maps downloaded from the forums here.

System configuration:
Win CE 4.2, Memory 64MB, 480x234.

(i) Put the 8.3.5 series software in SD card that came with this navigation system, it does not boot up, it reads the exe file then quits.

Every time I switch on my device I have to go into Settings\Regional\Units and Formats\Distance and reset my device to Miles/Feet otherwise because defaults to Kilometres/Metres

I have searched all the system.txt threads but I cannot find a reference to Distance. On my device I have searched the Primo\Save\Profiles\01\System.ini. The closest I have come is Units=2 (or 1 or 0) but adding this to system.txt does not work.

I'm sure the solution is simple.

I need to amend the colors in a Scheme to make my Primo 2 device usable on a motorcycle in bright sunshine. I have WinRar and I have tried modifying the RGB codes within the color.ini file and I have tried unzipping, modifying and re-zipping but whatever I do I get an error on boot up until I remove my amended Scheme. I have one question. On my previous device I used the Xerses Schemes in iGo8 and in 2D they gave me really good contour maps, also when I zoomed out in 3D. Using my new Primo 2 - iGo9 software the 2D elevation is greyed out in map settings and there is no sense of elevation or contours when zooming out or in 3D navigation. Device is Mio moov 330, on which I installed Igo Primo 2.0, instead of default Miomap. Simplest possible installation in which I directed mioautorun file to load primo instead of default software. It works without hesitation. Internal memory of device is 1 GB and, as you are aware, definitely not enough if you want to use all benefits Primo can offer. So ...

For some time I've been getting (on two separate and different HU) the error "unable to open poi_brand.scr exiting program".

Whilst initially simply rebooting or re-starting iGo worked, now iGo gets to "Starting" and then croaks on the above error.

Any ideas as to what has caused this as NOTHING was changed, this error simply appeared after months of normal use? Any help appreciated. TIA

I am running iGo Primo 9.6.5.211211 on a Wayteq x960bt with WIN CE 6.0.

Even though everything else is functional, the altitude appearing on the screen is frozen to 0. If I also use the gjak 1.08 skin, the number of available satellites also shows up as zero.
