Can anybody tell me how to transfer a map or parts of a map from an iMac to a Dakota 10 GPS? I know how it works with Windows but cannot get it done with a Mac

hi could some one help me please i have tried to access my Garmin nuvi which has different maps on it to try to delete old maps and update but when i try to connect to a pc it wont connect, iv try to install usb drivers and different windows system but still no good ,thanks if anyone could enlighten me

I own a British Columbia Backroads Atlas Micro SD Card for Garmin. It is locked to the serial number of the card and apparently cannot be copied. Does anyone know how to make a copy?

I am currently downloading 'Europe 2011.32' unlocked.

I have already have 2011.10b unlocked (gmapsupp.img) on my hdd. Although I've had this for awhile and this Garmin device is my sons, he is reluctant to remove his current onboard maps etc 'Garmin City Nav Europe NT 2008', but is willing to try a SD card with the latest Map of wherever.

I have a 4G SD card with the Volume Label named as 'Garmin 2011' and ...

just found the unit in a cupboard.
well out of date now something like 5 years i think.
can it be updated at all
software is version 3.40 (just updated software via garmin web site)
audio is version 2.70
the map is city navigator Europe nt+8
