Have Garmin Nuvi 255w and in the last few days it has lost satellite signals on two occasions. Used to have Nissan Qashqai and never had any problems ,but now have Hyundai Tucson. Searched internet and someone had a similar problem , different make of car. Using CD player/ radio in car was the cause of loss of signal !! GPS sits on rubber gps mat above the radio/cd.

I've currently got TomTom on this phone and have some competence regarding updating maps, navcores, post codes etc. on both the phone and standalone Tomtom units.
However I am shortly going to Cyprus and there are no available Tomtom maps.
