Previously a TomTom owner and it was reasonably easy to change my route by zooming in and touching a point then having TT navigate by that point.

Is there anyway to accomplish this in a simple way on the Garmin Nuvi 40?

For example if I set route for Naples Florida from Canada it follows the route I want until on I-10w in North Florida where it then takes me down hwy 301 to connect ...

i am truck driver and i have nuvi 1200 with europe map, but sometime the route not good, exist maps for truck? could help?

My nuvi 250W have a problem. It works good but the position of the car is not at the good place. The gap with the right place is aproximatly 50 meters.

Is it possible to reset gps settings?
Or is it possible to update the system (not the map)? What software is needed?

This the 2nd time my Garmin Nuvi 2565 crashed, the Garmin map disappear from the screen, but when I removed from the cradle, the map reappear again.
