I am new to the site and tried searching but couldn't figure things out.

I have a Kenwood in-dash deck with add-on nav unit (Garmin KNA-G510)

I wish to update my maps to the latest version.

My unit uses an SD Card with the volume name: 0101096600

Inside there are two directories:

EULA (empty)

GARMIN - with: GMAPSUPP.IMG and GMAPSUPP.UNL


What do I need to get and do in order to update this to ...

Just wondering will the new 3D Maps work with a Nuvi 1390 model

I'm trying to update a Nuvi 7 Series to Europe NT 2015.20. I have a 6Gb SD card to put the map onto but after a few hours of searching I can't find any instructions on how to achieve this. Could somebody point me in the right direction.

It comes with Europe NT 2009 map and is running 5.40 software version.

I am trying to update maps on my Nuvi 1300. I have used Mapsource and created small map file from City Navigator Europe NT 2014.40 Unlocked.img file. I see a map file in my device and that is checked as well, but when I try to use Where to option and Address I see only "No map data available. I have tried to copy map file to Garmin folder and renamed it but still ...

I updated my Nuvi 265 and in doing so installed the latest North American 2015.20 map. Now, it wants an unlock code. It installed the map on the 4GB memory card along with a few other files. I also noticed it deleted the old, original map that was in the internal memory, so I can't even return to that. If I were to delete the files on the memory card and copy over the unlocked ...

Is there a way to activate a file (IMG) on a device (Garmin) so that it does not work on a second device?

I want to activate a file (IMG) on a device (GARMIN) as is the case with (Garmin Mobile XT).

Is this possible?

Medion GoPal E4460 is a WinCE6 device and using Universal Shell I am able to run IGO8 and Primo without problems (even if TMC is not working due to rare chip used in this unit).

Currently, the best coverage of Panama and Peru is done by Garmin maps (Igo is still behind there), so I would like to use those maps on E4460.

The problem is that I cannot make it run the Garmin ...
