Sorry for NooB quesion.
I have a Garmin 2595LM that is up to date with US/Can/Mex maps since it has lifetime map updates.
When the GPS starts, it says: nuvi 2595 Copyright 2016. I wonder if the firmware needs updating or is that how it should show? If it needs a firmware update, is there a way to manually update or would it have updated via Garmin Express software? TIA

First off can the maps be run from a sd card on this model nuvi 2569 LMT-D
Next which set of files would be good for all of europe as i only have western europe on the nav at the moment.
Finally what is the folder and file structure like on the sd card.

and know anybody how to come in pre-boot, i test a lot variants but no luck.

Hello. I have Garmin 40LM device and 128GB MicroSD card. I'm not satisfied with "factory" map which came with my device. I downloaded City Navigator Europe NT 2020.30 (I can provide link if needed, it is about 17GB). My question is, is there some tutorial how to upload it to my device? In my Nuvi 2597, I have USA Maps City Navigator North America NT 2021.1 installed as default (I get the free updates) and I have recently downloaded and installed City Navigator Europe NTU 2020.2 - so both are in he unit memory, not via SD card.

Apologies for the lack of experience here but having downloaded the latest UK+NI map to my NuviLM and copied to the PC what do I need to do to load it on to a Nuvi that doesn't have free upgrades?

Is the map unlocked already or is it locked to my GPS serial for example?

i run windows diskcheck to see if both the garmin drivesmart61 mass storage drive and its boot drive file system is ok.

the boot drive is fine, but windows found file system in the mass storage section has some errors, and fixed it, then FOUND.000 folders created....

This happened quite a few time, although it didn't have impact on usage, everytime the unit is 'fixed' by windows diskcheck, and then I used the unit for ...

I buy sunday a nuvi 2595 and i update the gps yesterday with the new 2020.30 maps.

I want to use voice command with Hungarian or Romanian language,but don't work.

It is an issue? Any idea?? I have ASR file in my nuvi.
