I have a Garmin DriveAssist 50LMT and put a new map on a microSD card, plugged it in, booted it and the screen went black.
Any ideas ??

I have a doubt. A garmin gps truck that maps you used?
Are the same maps as for a car gps garmin?

I am not sure if this is correct

1 Set device to Mass Storage
2 Safe & then remove any gupdate.gcd from your device.
3 Download the patcher
4 Open patcher and drop the gupdate.gcd (That's the copy of the original from my gamin .sytem folder
5 incrementing the version by 1 during the patch process (Do I need to do that???)
then simply renaming the patched GCD file to GUPDATE.GCD

I wanted to add a map to my SD card recently and I came across "locked maps" on the Forum.

I have a Nuvi 1350 and wondered which files must be in folders on SD card to work correctly? (ASR, G2S, db, sid, JCV etc.) I have tried searching and have not found the exact answer I was looking for if someone can send me a link or knows off hand.

I have nuvi model 1440/1490/760 and map of Aus Nz showing fine on the micro sd card.

When try it on other nuvi models i.e 58LM it cannot read the data, say its corrupt. Does anyone know what the problem is?
