i was wondering if i can create a unique img file from a topo us 24k dvd ?

just to be sure that im trying to do lets call it topous24k.img to be able to use that file in multiple gps unit

Hi guys i m new here some one guide me how to use copy marin map on my garmin echomap pluse 62cv . i have to try may IMG unlocker software but not gating any success . i know now all gps coming with copy right protetion firmware .any solution to brack these kind of lock s?

is it possible to import a map that is in the zumo XT ?

i try with garmin express but it dont give me the option for that particular map , it only give me reinstall map on device

the CN NA NT can be save on pc with garmin express but not the topo active one


any suggestion to import or save that map on my pc ?

just receive my zumo xt , and i like the TopoActive PowerSports maps for North America map
if i use garmin express to try to import it to basecamp it not allowed me ( im guessing copyright restriction )

is there other way to import that map and install it in basecamp ?

Ok Im sure that question have been ask multiple time answer a tons of times over and over but I cant find a proper answer

i did download few map they all come individually in different folder but all have the same name gmapsupp.img
i can slpit the gmapsupp file and use the install bat file to install in basecamp no problem all my new downloaded map

I would like to put those new map ...

I try to use GMapTool
it work but it never create the mapset.img file

result.....when i install.bat it says .....missing mapset.img .... and baort installation

any ideal what is wrong

What I'm trying to do is use my LM52's lifetime maps feature to download maps for other Garmin devices that do NOT have lifetime maps (many of which are older and don't have the same features like the LM52 like junction view, and perhaps for some devices that have more features but no LM tag). I also want to make sure I download all of the correct and appropriate "accessory" files like the junction view ...

I have spent hours and hours downloading and trying to fix my issue with every available software on this forum but without luck. So now I am asking you guys for help.

Hi everyone,

I have an old nuvi 2340 which is still working well, but i want to update the maps on it.

I have already downloaded the new maps from the forum. When I add a small part of the map with "MapInstall" software in the internal memory, everything works fine. But I don't have a lot of available internal memory (0.5GB).

- How can I delete the old map from 2012 ? "MapInstall" software ...
