Hi,
I have a Chinese in car gps system for my Mazda 6 by Shihong Tech.

The unit has a gps settings page which i can use to gauge the signal level / number of satellites connected.

My device is a little random and sometimes will connect to many satellites and other times have 0 connections.

I have just purchased a new sma antenna and will test this as soon as it arrives but wondered ...

i google several months seeking to identify my Head unit software without any success
my objective is to upgrade its software. below is what i get from device info:

I have a Clarion NX404E, with very limited POI's, Speedcams, etc. The UI is also not great. I have tried adding new things, but it would never display. Someone told me that the sys.txt I had was completely empty except for Device typre NX403ev showing and that was the problem.

Can someone please help me, I want to upgrade my system to show new maps and extras and I have my hair pulled ...

I have this ancient piece from 2006 with maps of europe for trucks. I would like to update it to whatever latest version of whatever thing I can shove in it (I suppose latest version of tomtom possible). I would like to have the latest europe maps for trucks. I have seen this post and it seems to be exactly what I want:

I'm using Blaupunkt Philadelphia 835 with IGO 9.2.0.198379 version.

I want to use updated version (most recent) of iGO, or NAVIGON or Sygic.

Is it possible? How to know which version take?

Can you help me please ?
