I am wanting to install the IGO Navigation application and the associated maps on my android head unit in my car?

Where do I start?

I can download IGO Navigation from Play Store but there are no maps!

I am looking for a PC application or android to plan the route for HGV. Where I could put in my vehicle weight, length, height and get the route planned. Whats in your opinion the best HGV satnav for android? Sygic? Igo? Something different?

I am new and unexperienced in android navi apps.
I bought a Witson android 4.4.4 auto radio with Igo navigation on it. Europe !
The navi works fine ...the only thing is....there are no POI's on the map.
I have looked on the sd card and there is a map in the "content" named "POI" and there are lots of .poi files. But when I start Igo I don't find or see any. When ...

I did some research and still am stumbled with my issue.

This is for android note 3 running iGo Primo 2.4 (9.6.29.636868)
When I tried to do a local search, it says " Cannot connect to server".
I looked at all the system text file I could find and did all the changes possible, but I am still stuck with this.

Some say it is solved, and some aren't.

Still looking for a easy way to get routes from garmin motor map to my android.
For now I'm using ITN converter and sygic.
I think it would be nice to get an application you could directly us rhe route.

I have igo nextgen from this forum, and trying to get it running on a chinese android 2din radio. I have had primo running on it and wince before but this is different. I install and run and its says cant find global.cfg. I have global.cfg in a zip file in the content folder.
