May seem like a repost but I can't find the help I need in other posts. Downloaded a (free) version of navigon 2.6 and the UK map, installed navigon then put the installation .apk file and the map on sdcard... Problem is the app still want me to connect to the download but it won't connect.

After installing igo amigo on android device: base version, the natural next step is to customise and improve it with new skins.
Because of that for 240x320 version, the device must be rooted, why not, this is now done with the nice universalhandroot.
I installed also root manager which is supposed to go and write in the system.
In my case I do not succeed to add new directories and folders. Could you help me ...

I did it after long thinking about the subject as nowhere I got the solution because in my case of: cupcake 1.5 android OS No wifi connections, and no Web access from my prepaid card.
It was the worst condition to install any new applications and a navigator as Igo amigo android of course.
First of all from the Acer site I downloaded the last available ROM for the be touch E110 ...

After update to Froyo 2.2 iGo MyWay is not working. I cleaned the whole phone and re-installed the program as found in NaviTotal. However, this time during start up it says something like "database not found" and gives a black screen. Can only close by task manager.

Anyone experienced this? Anyone found a solution?

What are the steps to get it installed and working. I got it installed but Australia map does not show and arrow is swinging. It probably does not recognize the license. If I look at other countries, the maps show. So it is just Australia map. I did follow the instructions
"MLM file and lic special for Australia - New Zeland (overwrite license)".
Inside that download I found:

In think I sucessfuly installed the IGO for Android on my Samsung Galaxy S (GT I9000) with 16GB Micro SD card.

-I renamed the SD card to MOTONAV but no luck there.

-I went to the apps manager and force stopped the app. There was no data to clean.
