After almost a week struggling to install a new map, I stuck.
I have read instructions and tutorials( again, coz I had the same problem last year....), and I think I screw up completely because I have now ONLY TT logo after powering the unit( even after pressing the RESET).
I have TTone 3rd Edition( 1G ) (4N01.002).
What I'v done:
1. Deleted All files exept ttgo.bif, and ttsystem.
2. Downloaded United_States_900_4608 map on HD. ...

I am hoping someone here can help me out. I tried searching 1st but don't see an answer so...

I am having a real problem with IGO8 and it crashing on me. I have updated it with what updates are avilable for my Nav unit as well as getting the newest maps. That eliminated 2/3 of the crashing problems( fixed crashing at the startup ACCEPT screen 50% of the time and freezing up mid route ...

hi does anyone have a working version of tomtom on a wince6 (hd) device that they would like to send me a copy of ( the newer the better please).
i have tried to download it (7.9) and change the info as stated but i cant get it to work.
i currently have igo8 running but that doesnt use 7 digit postcodes, and it doesnt have speed cameras working.
any help would be appreciated please. ...

Two years ago I bought a TT Via in Paris, with the map of several europe coutries.

I´ve tried to update it and install new maps, but everything I want to do I have to buy it from the site, is it correct?

Can´t I have/Install a new map directly into my device?

Hi. I am very new here and have been reading through the pages of tutorials. I had a go a updating the tom tom one but still have the old map running. I copied the easyactivator to the device and the map file 905_4800 but got lost after that... I wonder if my device is too old to update?? here is the config file DeviceID=

When going to Map settings -> Place markers, then Favorites is always preselected. How can I disable it? I want to have many favorites but I do no want them to be shown on the map.
