Hi there i Have just aquired a more uptodate map for my device as my device does not have an SD card slot could somebody comment on the steps required to install and activate the new maps?


im aware that the methods vary between map versions and that there are a variaty of command line tools and applicatjons available to make these steps simpler.

I am trying to download NZ maps

and continuesly getting this error
"Error: The file you are attempting to download does not exist or has been removed because it violates our terms of use." when trying to download.

I am registered with the download site.

What is the problem is it me? I seem to get this error whenever I try to download anything.

All of a sudden my Garmin won't start up. Logo just keeps flashing. Will not connect to pc. Have updated and reinstalled items on sd card but still nothing happens. Any suggestions on how to solve this problem? IE is there a way to put the necessary garmin files for startup and connection to pc on the SD card? Also where do I get these startup files to copy to sd card? Will this require ...

Just thought this might be of interest to someone...

I have a go720 and have tried 3 versions of the same navcore with it today.
The first official 9.465 navcore is installed on the tomtom the 2nd and 3rd were running from the sd card slot...

1st I tried official 9.465 with UK & Ireland 905.4754 and loquendo
gave me around 13-14mb free and everything working.
2nd I tried DSA 9.465 with UK & Ireland ...
