I noticed that lately there are more and questions in regards to the different TT APK's as well as complaints based on mixing APK's with map releases from other postings.
So it is time to give some clearity on the matter...


1. All TT APK's with the same version number are totally identical, except for the country name in the menu (and program) and the device ID.

While updating my TT GO 720, I ran across these icon sets of real names that put the actual name of the POI instead of just a generic title. In each download, you will see .bmp files for each name. Simply copy the .bmp file to the map folder. Go back to the .bmp download and rename the extension ONLY to .ov2. Now copy the .ov2 file to the map folder as well. That's it. ...

It works perfectly except for the fact I cannot get any voice to work? I have looked extensively on this site and I cannot find any answer? Am I to believe that it is not possible? please help I am pulling my hair out and going bald because of it.

I have TomTom One XL ii with GB SD memory card, can I root or change GB maps to Eastern Europe (Baltic states) map which would contain Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania countries ?
Would someone one suggest me link/tutorial or exact map from this forum what I have to use ?

I have succesfully loaded IGO Primo on to an SD card and amended the autorunce file to load IGO automatically. All seems to be ok including finding the GPS receiver, but the unit cannot access a satellite signal. From posts here and elsewhere I suspect that when the unit switches on it grabs the GPS port which is 7. Despite extensive searches I cannot see where this occurs.
