Downloaded one of the darth vader voices on the forum here and fastactivated the voice without realizing my previous tomtom map would get overwritten... So now my TomTom doesn't even work.

I am planning on doing the update anyway and was wondering if I could get some assistance.

my device is a XL 540 and my version was 9.510(something of the sort). my device comes with Advanced Lane Guidance and IQ routes.

It's my first GPS, so i'm kinda a noob with all this ...
I was looking for several way to update the map ... official and other ones ...
i wanted to know if my tomtom is compatible with the map i can find here or the GO LIVE 820 is too recent ?

Ok so I have the Mio Spirit 685 but it only came with UK and Ireland maps, and I want to get europe maps on it, how do I do this?

I found several threads with maps but no idea if they will work on my device, and if they will how do I get them on my device?

My Garmin nuvi 2250 is about 2 years old and is very slow on selecting cityies or streets while I'm searching adress. When I enter city name and select the citiy i need to wait about 10 seconds to open street search form and after entering street the same problem again. I cleared all searching history and trip log but the problem is still here. Any help please!?
