Hi all, a friend of mine has given me his old units to update. The model numbers shown are 4N00.004.2, and 4N00.001 (must be an original).

I cant check the original yet as I haven't got a power connector, but the first model is running the outsourced 8412 navcore, and 855 maps.

What is the best way to update? Should I wipe it clean, let Tomtom Home update to the latest navcore, get the appropriate ...

i have a tomtom one. I want to update my maps benelux to benelux 925.5412 but it`s not working.
It says no Maps. i put the map and the meta file inside the tomtom and activate it with benelux 925.5412 installer still not working.

I have a TomTom Ease. I looked on my TomTom Home program and the latest map version available is 930.5605 for USA and Canada. Before I download the map data and FastActivate to activate the map, do I need to download another Navcore? I looked on my GPS device and the App on it is version 9.510.

I'm looking for a Western and Central Europe 2GB map for a tomtom XXL but can't seem to find one. The Europe map would do it but they are all way too big, any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

I have just bought a new computer running Win8.1 64bit.
I used Basecamp/Mapsource on my old computer no problems, updates ok.

I have installed Basecamp/Mapsouce ok. Runs ok.
However , when I update map using msi option in CNE NT2014.30 (worked ok on old machine)

1. Map does not show in Mapsource

2. Get the following error message when trying to open Basecamp

Hello,

Does anybody know what fonts are used for those maps? I am useing a TTS voice and there are some letters who are not recognized by the voice. For examlpe:

The TTS voice said Oseaua insead of Șoseaua "Ș" is as SH (She is Șe) and "ț" (Pizza is Pița)
