Does anyone know if the new Oregon 700 series has similar map protection to the latest Nuvi GPSs?

I current have an Oregon 650t that runs unlocked maps without issue and was thinking about upgrading. My new Nuvi GPS does not work with unlocked maps.

Is there a fast way to find the latest Benelux map for carminat (NC 8.842) that supports ALG & IQ Routes that has a meta code ?

Download Western_Europe_1GB_970_7490 but after extract have 1,26GB and dont fit on gps that only have 1GB capacity...
