Now I'm using TSST corp. SH-224DB burner. So far there is no any particular issues, but the slowest burning speed is 4x. Recommended burning speed on most of the navigation DVDs is 1x or slowest possible. 4x is ok but is not that good for burning DVDs for car navigation. Can anyone share their experience for model type with 1x burning speed that is still on the market.

Does anybody know where to get speed limit data?
I need it for the development of a GPS Android app that's supposed to work offline.

I don't need maps or navigation. I just need speed limit data based on GPS coordinates(?).

It can be a paid service too, but it must be offline.

All the big navigation apps have it. Where do they get it?
It would be appreciated, if somebody had information about this.
