Hi, Has anybody successfully installed any alternative navigation software into their existing factory navigation unit?
I would like to update my 2009 Mazda 3 to something like iGo or Sygic etc.

Why do they bring out so many updates each year? I mean do they build roads that quick that we need three to four updates a year? I just put Q2 in last week and now Q3 is out. Think ill just change the POI's and get the next update :046: Oh and as im in a question mood, what is the extended poi's for and why ...

I have a peugeot with RNEG2.08.A.1 system, with 2011 maps, I want to upgrade the FW to 2.86 to update maps. Will I have calibration problems if i update directly from 2.08 to 2.86? Does anyone have intermediate updates 2.21, 2.37, 2.71 and 2.77 available for me to download?

Hi,
i have a Tomtom XL v9 that dont go past a red circle with a white cross, my friend was updating the tomtom and may have changed the bootloader and navcore but not sure.

what i have tried:
downgrade bootloader (0.0..0 and 0.0..1) - does nothing it cant read the file
full format the tomtom and restore from tomtom home
diferent navcore
tt clear flash
reset (30 secs on power)
etc

the current bootlader ...

If i want to update portable gps i have to download the map and activate with fastactivate (Bettwen other things), and for cars? Is there a normal steps to do? Thanks
