with this post I'm looking for a solution for Carminat Tomtom (navcore 8.843) on my Renault Laguna 2010.
In March I've upgraded the system navcore succefully (8.842 --> 8.843) via TomtomHome but after few days I started to notice an anomalous behavior of the system.

Meta map issue for those who may have a problem with this one.

but the Map is called USA_South_Atlantic_1030_9520
So you either change the map file folder to US_South_Atlantic_1030_9520 to match the meta file, or I as did change the Meta code by adding 'U'.. ie..meta code

I've recently bought a nuvi 2699 with version 8.50. I've connected it to computer ( Garmin Express) and done the update. Once the device rebooted I lost completely the mass storage mode tried all tutorials online including changing mode from mtu to mass storage.

Now, is it possible to roll back to version 8.5 with the micro sd ?

I have a GO 730 that was working but through connection problems acquired the Malformed... Error in TT Home. I backed up INTERNAL and Storage to two folders and did some resets, formatting and pasting the files back but the Malformed error remains and now getting the No Maps Found Error. i have map Europe_South_West_1030_9519, and i thaught i was good to go.

I did a last check today , and so stupid as i am, i havent found italy in my map.

So my question is my friends, can you please advice me wich map i should take to ...

Special v1035 maps

Activation of maps with equivalent metas. If you have a map that has no meta, you may be able to activate it if there is an equivalent meta.

So, in simple terms (Iberia_1035_9697 example):

Download/decompress/copy the map that you want to activate (but for which you don't have the meta).
Delete the relavent .meta file
Copy into the map folder the .meta file from the other map (same country - ...

I successfully updated my TomTom One XL to a new encore and 1030 maps for florida (after a bit of help from some of the people here) after posting to this thread https://navitotal.com/topic21351.html
I also replaced the old battery as it wouldn't hold a charge and everything seemed fine. Now we're actually in florida and everything seemed peachy (for about an hour) until about 12 miles ...

If your map uses post codes (UK, Netherlands or Singapore), you should have a folder in the root of your device called 'zip' which will contain the post code files. You can create the folder yourself if it is missing.

Download the relevant files for either or all of those 3 maps from the links below, extract the archive(s) into the zip folder overwriting the old ones if necessary.
