I have an old 720 and I was very pleased with it, until it wasn't supported any more by tomtom.
The last map I had was 975 eastern europe (purchased legit from TTHome). I wanted to update the maps, so with no other official choice, I downloaded 1030.9519, but the original 9541 navcore wouldn't recognize any map (even after patching with fastactivate), so in a mad rage I deleted all the files in internal ...

I bricked my elderly friend's TomTom (disconnected lead whilst updating voices, sic! - and that was it) so decided to do the right thing and buy him replacement off eBay.
Having encountered multiple VIAs, STARTS without owners being aware what models are they (and no models are displayed on their cases), I was forced to use TomTom sat-nav model recognition portal here: http://uk.support.tomtom.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/9508/~/find-the-model-of-your-navigation-device-and-what-software-it-uses (based on S/No).

I have a TomTom One (v2) with a 4GB SD card.
I have put NavCore NC9.510_DSA_For 32Mb_ram on it.
I installed the map Benelux_1030_9519 on it.
And then it's working fine.
But when i install the map Western_Europe_1030_9519 on the SD card.
The TomTom is constantly freezing and rebooting.
When I remove Western_Europe_1030_9519 map the TomTom is working fine again.

Any one any suggestion how to solve this?

Hi guys, I have just wiped a GO930 and done a clean install of the (latest) navcore using TTHome, added a map, patched nc & map with Fastactivate. My problem is that I cannot get the LoquendoTTS voice to work. It is a very long time since I did a clean install - what am I forgetting/overlooking?

The Loquendo (7.0) voice was downloaded from here (NT) along with the folder 'patch'.

I am planning a sailing trip from Canada to Australia.
I have in the past loaded BlueChart Americas 9.5 and Blue Chart Pacfic onto my garmin 76cx to use in the cockpit and also a laptop insibde running opencpn.

My 76cx has died - corrosion on the sd card contacts means it can't read maps.

Does any one know if there is a garmin handheld I can buy new today which will can these ...

i am using the app 9.18.27.687519 and its perfect.
i came across a complex junction with diverged lanes one is keep straight and second is keep on the right lane.
at this option i didnt had outline guiding arrows and guiding voice where to go.
i've checked two another programs in a simulation and suprisingly i had outline guiding arrows and guiding voice.

Steps to IMPORT/EXPORT GPX files on Android Garmin Streetpilot Version 2.37
1-Go to SETTINGS
2-Go to GENERAL
3-Select Import / Export GPX
4-Select Export GPX, to save "All Saved Places"
5-On your OLD android phone, copy the folder named GPX with 2-files Current.gpx and Position.gpx and save it somewhere on another folder outside GARMIN folder
6-Copy the GPX folder with the 2-files into a your NEW Android Phone GPX folder.
7-On your NEW Android Phone, ...
