I have a problem with a TomTom One (v2)
Sometimes it finds the GPS signal within a minute.
And sometimes it takes more than 10 minutes to find a GPS signal.
How is this possible?

I'm using NC9.510_DSA_For 32Mb_ram
And I used QuickGPSFix with TTActivator v1.7

Would like some advice on a BMW X3 F25 series, asking for my brother as he has bought this bmw but can't seem to find anything to do with navigation on his system, would like to know if this bmw has it or does it need to be installed and if anyone has an installation disk or where to get this from would be greatly appreciated thanks Mark....

Special v1040 maps

Activation of maps with equivalent metas. If you have a map that has no meta, you may be able to activate it if there is an equivalent meta.

So, in simple terms (Iberia_1040.9849 example):

Download/decompress/copy the map that you want to activate (but for which you don't have the meta).
Delete the relavent .meta file
Copy into the map folder the .meta file from the other map (same country - ...

I have a Nuvi 255w and 265 and updated them to 2020.30. I was wondering about the software in them. Do I need to update the firmware or software or is that even possible.

The 265 has Version 6.00, Audio 1.0 GPS SW 3.70b and Bluetooth 1.70
The 255 has Version 7.60, Audio 1.10 GPS SW 2.00m

Is there a way of checking which chipset a any particular TomTom has for locating satellites please?
Using FastActivate if the ephem folder is empty you have a choice of Sirfstar or Global locate but is handy to know which.
