Hello to you all, ive just joined and look forward to getting my old TOMTOM 1XL updated.
Its a great satnav but i was gutted when they stopped supporting the device.
I would like to know if anyone can point me to the correct board to learn how to update my device to
the latest map.

I own a Tomtom GO 720. I have using BBS tools and Fast activated for years.
Navcore is 9.541

I downloaded 4 maps (need France and Iberia maps).
Europe_1GB_West_1050_10226
Central_Europe_South_1050_10176
Europe_West_1050_10176
Central_Europe_South_1050_10185

I updated Meta.txt file. But I'm not able to activate this maps.
I patched again Tomtom GO 720 => idem
I tried whith FastActivate (last version) => idem
I tried whith BBS tools (last version)=> idem

Hi. I've been using TomTom Navigator inside WinCE for ages, using FastActivate and the like over the years to get the current CE capable Australia maps running in it. Everything was fine up to and including the v1040 maps, but v1045 and now v1050 have failed with "Incomplete Map(s)/.dct ERROR".
I've been using the available WinCE compatible map versions and their supposed meta files, but they no longer seem to activate in FastActivate. Did something ...

Thanks but how do we use those meta codes? Are they necessary to activate downloaded maps?

Sorry for NooB quesion.
I have a Garmin 2595LM that is up to date with US/Can/Mex maps since it has lifetime map updates.
When the GPS starts, it says: nuvi 2595 Copyright 2016. I wonder if the firmware needs updating or is that how it should show? If it needs a firmware update, is there a way to manually update or would it have updated via Garmin Express software? TIA

I have a renault espace from 2011 with TOM TOM Carminat Live navigation. (VersionNumber=9884)
I need a new map, i found the Tom Tom Activator and maybe i have the latest version (v1.11)
After i downloaded a map to my sd card i cant activate it because i cant see it in the "installed content" menu.
What can i do? What is the problem?

For my Citroën Grand C4 Picasso (2018), I have updated the maps through Citroën Belgium in the past. Last time they offered the software Citroën Update, which downloads all updates (maps and firmware), creates a licence-file and puts all files on the USB-stick.

I now have PSA_map-eur_15.0.0-r0-NAC_EUR_WAVE2 installed (together with PSA_ovip-int-firmware-version_21-08-25-12_NAC-r0_NAC_EUR_WAVE2).
At this forum I have seen PSA_map-eur_16.0.0-r0-NAC_EUR_WAVE2 and PSA_map-eur_17.0.0-r0-NAC_EUR_WAVE2. So 2 newer versions of the maps!

hi i have an xtron pf71fsfs-s unit with no map card. I'm wanting to get a maps card but the programme it was running is kudos but I have heard its rubbish. Any help on changing this to igo would be much appreciated.
