Hello All,

Just acquired one of these, the new Montana 700 which is the basic, non 'in-reach' included unit.
So far seems ok, though it was a little expensive, around $1100 AUD to get the unit and mounting cradle.
Bit disappointing to learn if I want to be able to use AA batteries like in the Montana 610 and GpsMap 276CX I have to spend even more money to buy the adaptor thingo for it, ...

I have recently obtained a used Opal 365125 2din navigation system (Chinese).
The unit runs Windows CE 6.0.
From reading the owners manual, I have found that the unit originally had Polstar Polnav navigation software.
When I obtained the unit, the navigation SD card was already missing/lost.
I have a new blank replacement SD card.
I also have a Clarion unit with working IGO Primo maps.
I also have downloaded IGO8 and HERE ...

i got some version of IGO that doesn't work with screen resolution 1280 x 480 pixel.

Could someone help me find the solution for this issue?

Should i change some parameters in the sys.txt file?

The best way to identify your device is by using the first two letters of the serial number which can usually be found on a sticker on the device or within the 'about' screen on the device as shown below:


The example above shows it is an STxxxxxxxx = Go Live 1015


This examples serial number is: WNxxxxxxxx = Start 60/ Via 620/ Via 1605
