Hello ! I have TT XL2 IQ, Europe42, TMC included (not mem card), buyed 4 weeks a go from Germany (MediaMarkt) Yesturday i tryed to update via TomTom HOME. There is neded a product code , but i did not find it, in the box no CD no card code.Tomtom worked until yesturday. Now the problem is this message "NO MAPS FOUND", TomTom don't work. I restored files , but is the same problem. So ...

I have transferred all the data 'Map 850-2782, navcore 8410.1218, boot 5.5106 ' and data from previous version etc. to my SD card.

The TT starts through to the point of loading the map, then a screen message comes up

"Problem with map

You cannot use this map on this device:
Western_Europe-162

OK"

Yet the chart shows its ok for "One, Go, Rider" using my navcore.

Any clues

trying to do this on my xl with 8508271 uk maps and 9053 navcore on

everytime i try to prepare route from a to b when i select the depart from at a point on the map it just locks up and eventually reboots

it does the same if i try to plan a route from my favorites

anyone else had this before ?

Hey dudes :)

I just got the 2011.10 maps for Europe and now I wanted to copy them via MapSource to my nüvi 200.

I got some 'medicine' for MapSource, installed the map and wanted to unlock it, but Garmin Unlocker says, that it is already unlocked ?!
But MapSource says, the map 'can't be locked' (in German "kann nicht gesperrt werden"). Any ideas what to do?

For replace the bmp file on your TomTom just make sure it has the same name as the chk and vif name.
So if a voice has the name data80.chk and data80.vif the bmp file must also be named as data80.bmp

im going to move on from my XL now and do my brothers 730 complete with lane guidance

which is the best navcore for this device , i have a patched version of 9053 can that be used ,also i updated mu navcore for mine from a diffrent site and the nav core was already patched, will it be the same with the ones fom here or do i need to do something else

now i have florida loaded and working it occured to me should i set the device to operate in km while there and if so do i need to use a different voice
