I've finally managed to replace IGO8 with the new PRIMO (thanks to
the excellent guideness by the moderators :yahoo:). It looks differently and I'm sure I'll get used to it quickly.

My question is: I haven't been able to locate how to point to a city center
(e.g. if I don't have a street name).
IGO8 and also MIOMAP 3.3 had this - I can't ...

For all out there who wondered how TT was able to create the Start Wars Voices....

iGO8 will display like 64 KM/H ,,,,

Is it the same for you guys?

and once again,

is there a parameter in sys.txt file to fix this?

Mine is Papago! X5.2 M3GPS (Build Jan 20th, 2010), i can use almost function without any problem, except 3D building cannot display, it only can display a small icon for each POI instead of should have a 3D building appear at there. When I open Advance Setting, there already checked on 3D Building, but still not appear when i'm moving. Please help me how to enable 3D building?

that's all work fine...but i have something problem when i write at the menu of address / POIs
example .... jalan sudirman >>> hmmm i dont know why that program exactly stuck (blank view) then restart...
and i try to edit my sys.txt ____ the problem has ...

• Download X_Navcore.9.205.547817.1.Basicpack and copy the complete contents to your device, overwriting any common files
• Download X_ttsystem.9.205.547817.1 and copy the contents of the .rar file to your device overwriting when/if prompted (Exept the file readmenot.txt, leave this out)
• Download your required map (I will use this map as an example , change the map to whatever country/version you require) United Kingdom & Republic of Ireland 850.2781 ,
• When downloaded extract the files to a folder ...

WinRAR, WinZIP or other program use 100% cpu time

This is a problem if you use WinRAR to compress such large map files, your computer may freeze the package for a period, this may bring help for this problem

Do you know "Windows" shares the processor time between all running processes based upon their priority? If a process has higher priority, it gets more processor time compared to a process having lower priority.

In need of your help, after reading through posts I thought I could master it, wrong!!!!

Did do a full backup before I started, phew
Downloaded 4.1D opened it up and had a look round not realizing tom tom still attached to usb port. Waited till I could remove then on start-up got this message “You cannot use this map on this device UK and R of I” as I haven’t loaded a ...

The satio comes with what I would consider a "decent" a-gps program. The only catch is Wisepilot requires money to be spent after the 30 day trial.

I know this is a stretch but has anyone had any success finding and trying any other standalone GPS aps that work with symbian based smartphones? I would especially love to hear from any satio users.
