was not sure if my Honda CRV 2018 navigation system needs to be patched to install unlocked maps so as a test, I copied gmapsupp.img and gmap3d.img to the Garmin folder of the USB drive it did update to the 2024 version. the reason I only copied these 2 files is because those are the only files from the .RAR files above that has the same file names as in the Garmin folder.
