i found an replacement battery for my Garmin Nuvi 3790t in an online shop, but no one can tell me how to open the Nuvi without breaking it. Someone has a tip for me?

Hello to all.
I have problem wit gps unit Binatone G430. After I tryed to modificate the regystry of WinCE - the device is showing only the startup screen.
Can anybody help me - I need proper ROM for G430 and may be instructions how to install it.

its currently running IGO8 but id like to unlock it and install some other gps software.
Ive used tomtom before so that would be preferable, but ive found opinions saying that IGO PRIMO is better than tomtom and igo 8.
Can anyone point me in the right direction of files needed or even a step by step guide would be appreciated greatly.

I've got a HTC Touch Pro running Igo Primo 1.1 and hypergps to access the FM radio tuner, which works quite well at delivering TMC. However, I have noticed that when the signal is low the auto tune function skips TMC stations that I can receive if tuned manually within IGO. Does anyone know any settings that can influence the auto tuners sensitivity ?

Unlocked my Navman n60i with this site. now it runs IGO 8.5 on startup.

since discovering the delights of Primo v1.2-9.2.1.178658 feb 09 2011 version no car journey is complete without playing with it. one thing i appear to be missing is the ability to enter gps coordinates to enter as my destination; has anyone got any ideas how to go about this?

in the speedcam thread started by nabi on 17 may 2010 he says "4. Open speedcam.txt on your PC, determine the outer coordinates of the region you need speedcams for, delete the lines in speedcam.txt that are outside this square. You could do this in excel (I think you need excel2010 for this, because of the number of lines)".
Does anyone know how, or know how to workout, the outside coordinates for specific countries eg ...

I have OzTopo v2.1 installation package which I managed to run, register in MapSource and unlock some time ago on older PC with Windows XP SP2.

Now I have another PC with Windows 7 Ultimate and I have Map Source 6.16.2 installed. Tried to install OzTopo v2.1 into various locations (Program File/Garmin, Users/Admin/AppData/Roaming/Garmin/Maps, etc), but had no success with registering the product in the Map Source.
