Hi I made backup of tomtom xl and deleted all files except the tomtomhome.exe on the tomtom xl.
I then copied Navcore.8.412.1236 to the tomtom and then pulled the usb plug from bottom of tomtom the screen froze on the tomtom with the hand and circle around it.

I pluged back into pc and it is sitll frozen, holding down the on button wont reboot it.

I tried the flash tool but it cant seem ...

I am using primo 1.2 15feb version but every now & again it keeps crashing; so i thgt i'd try the november primo 1.1 which chas & fbf amongst others reccomend I've dowloaded all i need apart from the data zip. I have been trying to download the data zip from nabi's post http://www.navitotal.com/showthread.php?4789-official-Primo-1.1-multires-data.zip- from fileserve but keep getting "Your IP has failed the captcha too many times. Please retry later".

1 what is the easiest to set-up ?

2 does anybody run this what dongle do you use, model ? price ? etc
