But how can I use Topo France v3 with mapsource ?
Has someone got the DVD to install Topo France v3 on computer ?

The DVD version is not yet available. You can be sure, that it will be posted here, if someone has uploaded it anywhere.

Actual Garmin topo maps like Topo France v3, Germany 2012 or Austria v3 are no more fully compatible with MapSource, because they all come with an ActiveRouting SQL database file, that only can be interpreted from newer Garmin outdoor devices and BaseCamp.

I downloaded the IMG file. I put it in my SD card under garmin folder. But the MAP does work with my Garmin (550T, software version 4.50, GPS software version 5.00).

How do you use the IMG file?

[device or SD]\Garmin\gmapsupp.img is right für nuvi 550

If you don't see,

1. check if SD is formatted with FAT or FAT32
2. look in map info, if it is listed there
3. deactivate CN map, so that not covers other maps

I looked for in different web site, and if I understand well, my IMG file is not unlocked (I see with IMGTool software)

I replied elsewhere concerning this but just know that I still unlocked the unlocked img file using JM keygen.

Sorry but I must contradict, but JetMouse KeyGen is not recommended anymore to unlock maps, because it doesn't work for MapIDs >2200 neither on all actual devices nor older devices with actual firmware. Only for for code in sw.unl for MobileXT and MobilePC JM is still useful. Already for some years we use Image or MapSource unlockers successfully.

Of course the map must be unlocked, I thought that's naturally that I have not mentioned it :D.
Use unlocker alternative or gimgunlock.

Thanks, but I was ONLY saying what I did.

Maybe it works for Mobile XT, but not for nuvi and other actual devices.
