Hi all,
I own a forerunner 945 and I'm wondering if I need just to copy IMG files in the watch to make it work.
Is it a risk to brick the watch ? Will the maps update to more recent updates ?

I do not think the cards are updated, however you can go to Mobac to make your cates, search and you will find on the forum

Both links direct to Mega home page. Tried to push, then by right click "copy link's adress" - all the same. Could try to copy the text of the link if it could be shown entirely, but middle-part of the link is shown as dots.
The last idea came to manually repeat whats written below the window as link's adress. Ufff, it was really unstandard, but it came as a working chance - now I see "V5 Nord" 2,86Gb. :lol:

And only after that saw the next pages with all those comments. What a dumb I appeared to myself!)

Hi,
I copy the .img file in the folder garmin from my fenix 5x. The watch reconize the map but it doesn’t display anything, sombebody has an idea why ? Thanks

J’ai copié le fichier. IMG dans le dossier Garmin de ma Fenix 5x. La montre reconnaît la carte mais n’affiche rien. Quelqu’un aurait une idée pourquoi ? Merci

Have you Patched your device to use any other Unlocked maps ?
