:046: Thank you for your time posting back !

Unfortunately. My home internet connection is a smart phone. Very slow download. Then issues with network etc. Download is then lost.

I have access locally to fast download. The above link. If not payed for. Is dirt slow. When it finally shows up as a torrent file. Will get it.

When I get a chance will try to unlock a 2022 version. In the meantime Picked up a 2017 map Lower 49 & Canada Mexico. G map Unlocked on a torrent with several seeders and leechers. Less than 10 minutes for this large file.

Vast improvement . Put it on 32gb sd card . With all the local road changes and new addresses. Certainly want the latest. Work as an itinerant on call handy man.

So. Having up to date maps saves time. Going from address to adress.

Keep up the good work ! Thanks again ! :lol:

The filecrypt dlc link in the first post should work better. Use jdownloader to get it.

Is there a jcv file that works with this
North America NT 2023.10 going on a RHB 430N head unit in my Jeep?

Check your garmindevice.xml to what is currently on your device, but it looks like the Split Screen PhotoReal Junction view D3191400A.jcv

My current is below. I'm asking if there is one that goes along with this update? I found one on another forum named 'D3060380A.jcv' but just wanted to see if anyone knows if that one will work with this updated.

-<UpdateFile>
<PartNumber>006-D3856-04</PartNumber>
-<Version>
<Major>2</Major>
<Minor>0</Minor>
</Version>
<Path>Garmin/JCV</Path>
<FileName>D3856040A.JCV</FileName>

I also found another one labeled ''D1279460A.jcv' and my understanding the first one is the "large" full size images file and the 2nd might be the "split screen".... not sure if thats true or not or if anyone knows a way to check other then loading and see what/if it works.

D3060380A.jcv = 829 MB (869,770,217 bytes)
D1279460A.jcv = 800 MB (839,624,131 bytes)

Thanks!

Shows D3191400A.jcv the previous version of D3191400A.jcv
<FileName>D3856040A.JCV</FileName> is very old so I don't have it to investigate
The other two are both Full Screen

I'm trying to download post #1 from FileFactory but it keeps failing, is this download link dead for anyone else or is FireFox just being moody again? Really wanna get this on my DriveAssist 51 and this is the first link I've been able to find of the 2023 version of the map.

I have tried several times to download the .img file from Post #1, unfortunately my internet connection does not seem to be able to handle a 3+ gig download at 60kbps without choking up at some time in the process.

Can this file be gotten from a site that allows resuming of interrupted downloads?

Alternatively I was able to download FireFox58's post of the .gmap version, however I do not know how to load this on the SD card of my Nuvi 1490. Can someone point me to a post that explains this? (EDIT - found the answer to this question, still wondering about the first question)

Thanks for the gmapprom.img
Anybody have the rest of the support files available for download? e.g. ASR, Map, POI and SID

Hi Guys, I am new to this,
I downloaded the lower 49 states and uploaded the img file to Garmin folder on my sd card, question is do I need to add any of the other files like the ASR and the SID file? and if so where?
My satnav is the Garmin nuvi 2517LM

I believe The device has been patched, I can see the map on the sat nav and can enter an address but I can not switch maps from UK/ Europe which is on the internal memory to NA which is on the card.

The 2517LM has an extra sd card slot which is separate from the internal memory.

Go to MyMaps and select NA like this example,if you cannot see N.America then tell us what you have put where on the FAT 32 formatted SD card 32Gb or less
