You can create your own with Mapsource by downloading the gmap folder from post #1 if there is a reason you want to use these older maps or just get the latest new-maps/city-navigator-north-america-2024-fid-9949-t23168.html

I tried to download the map from the 1st post & my security system keeps telling me that it is infected with URL:SCAM. Is there a fix for this? or Is there a safe way around it?

The download in Post 1 is not a map but the files required for a PC to use with Mapsource/BaseCamp to create your own map sets

Save download to C:\ProgramData\Garmin\Maps use map source to chose your own map it’s unlocked

Is there a reason you are not using the latest version ,tell us what device you have.

Most probably your Antivirus has flagged it. You could turn it off temporarily,11 members have used the "thumbs up" button but many more would have downloaded it before you.

I recently purchased a 2008 GoldWing with a Garmin Navi gps in it. from what i've been told; because of technology changes & things, the newer maps won't work with the older systems.

That is true, I have a 2006 Goldwing and the latest map that you can use is 2022.25 because Garmin changed the street name font starting with map 2023.1

Hello - is it possible to get the GMAP folder for this version? I have a 2720 street pilot and from what I understand it is the last version that will display the street names correctly - Main Street vs M... S.....

From all reports this is the last to display street names correctly.

Bingo - Thanks for your help! Now the next question - is it possible to update the points of interest on a non current Garmin map? I will search on that

POI's are part of the map, to my knowledge no.

Would you please post a link for just Florida from map 2022.25. My version that I made from the gmap file became corrupt and the link on Navitotal is dead. The gmap file would work also. My old Garmin unit does not support maps newer than 2022.25.
