I'm new to site and have not found instruction how to download and install such .rar files. Can anyone help please?

download all parts, use latest version of winrar and just unrar it .. it so simple

Which other files do I need? for 3D buildings for instance?

It depends what device you have! See what type of files exist already and copy the same !

I have a kenwood stereo with Nav (DNN770HD). I updated the maps last year but for the life of me I can't remember what process I used. I removed the SD card and the files that are on it are gmapsupp.img gmap3d.img - There's a GARMIN folder with ASR and JCV folders inside it. I realize that I should be able to figure this out but could ya help me out and give me a push in the right direction? I think I remember that I had to change the name of a file after I downloaded it to gmapsupp because I don't see that here. Thank you in advance.

Yes you download the UNlocked files rename in gmapsupp.img and also download all the others like ASR JCV and put them in the same directories should not have any problem

I downloaded from above ImgUn, 3map3d, JCV, 3490 ASR, 3790 ASR

Inside the the JCV folder that I downloaded there are serveral folders LaneAssistFull, LaneAssistMedium, Full-Screen, LaneAssistPortraitFull, Split-Screen, Nuvi-40,50-Android, nuvi 6x

Which files should I put in my JCV folder.

CN North America NT 2018.10 - Lower 49 States is missing Colorado. Total map was only 1.1 gb. Can someone else confirm this?

Pardon my ignorance. I am dealing with GMAP folder for the first time. So far, I always used ISO file. Can anyone help me to deal with gmap folder. How do I convert it in ISO, just make ISO (like zip) or there is any other process?

I have nuvi 1390T.

My lower 49 was 1.12 GB but it did have colorado. I used the download link for 1fichier.com

have Nuvi 780 and been using the original map (North America) which is all but useless now. I would immensely appreciate if someone could give me basic steps to get the map updated. I spent an hour+ and it's pretty overwhelming.

It did have colorado, but only like 2 cities, I found the lower 49 states, was actually lower 49 SE, so this was now the full lower 49(not even sure if they make one).
