Did you clear all user data and reset the Locale to France as above ?

and when I look into supported_features.html:

-> "ASR lite" seems to be the name of the device restriction for not full voice recognition
i will look into other files if i can see other interesting things

So we have tried to duplicated all the file structure of a Full Europe device to eliminate that as the reason your voice command is restricted ,unfortunately it would appear Garmin has restricted this feature on these regional devices. We have seen the similar restrictions on devices sold to rental car companies, where you cannot change the option to use the device functions while the vehicle is moving. :022:

yes probably would need a specific firmware patch to enable the blocked features,
gonna try to sell the gps, and buy a secondhand device with full europe

Hi guys,

I have a nuvi 2455 last time i managed to install 2022.10, but this year its like a total brain fog... do not remember how i managed to do it.. Could you guide me through how to do it? I have a 16GB SD card installed into the device. I understand that i cann install pretty much the whole europe onto it?

while trying to run the UnlockMapsource (Run as admin) it stops at 485 files remaining and nothing continues

You are not using the "Thumbs up" button so we don't know what you have been downloading.
Why not just use the Unlocked maps available instead of Mapsource then you will have all the additional files including Junction view ?

I downloaded the full torrent from user costygsm. There is folder with unlocked maps

Welcome to the forum, firstly this thread is Not the latest version
new-maps/garmin-city-navigator-europe-ntu-2023-t23124.html

Tell us what Garmin nuvi you have as they all don't use the same files or process.
Tell us what you want to achieve ,Update out dated maps, add maps to a device from another country etc.
