These are the official maps supplied by Garmin. However you can download the gmap folder from the first post in this thread or the mapsource installer from the second post. These contain the full europe map. Use the Garmin mapinstall program to install the full map to your satnav (or the part that you require). The gmap folder in the first post is already unlocked and is usually put in the C:\Program Data\Garmin\Maps folder on your PC. The installer in the second post needs to be unlocked using the unlockmapsource program.

I see them as one on my 276CX GPS, but not in Basecamp. The GPS allows multiple map sets selection. Basecamp routes in the active map set (there can only be one active) and it straight lines on the other map set. That is on a single route that crosses the boundaries of both map sets.

As long as you have both North & South maps installed & selected on your device they work as one map set, they are only split due to the 4GB .img system limit.

To use them on Mapsource or BaseCamp you need to install them on your PC as suggested by ronand above ,as I would assume you do not have that option from Garmin Express with your purchase.

Which files does i need? Currently have 2018 maps, and they are a bit out of date.

Its in the first post of this thread. You will need North & South. Thats the way Garmin supply it.

Yes. You can see in the coverage image in the first post. Poland is in the "North" file.

Could you tell me please which one file from archive (JCV(353 x 390)nuvi 6x.rar) I have to use on nuvi 65?
And should it be placed at the same memory where the map is located?

The device is unlocked and maps works fine.

Assuming your device is Patched to use unlocked maps, both D6135140A.jcv & D6164140A.jcv go in the JCV folder

Hello,

I tried to merge both south and north into a single file with GmapTool.

File is 5.17GB wich i updated successfully to my kenwood dnx521vbt, but the map is not working, is it because i have to do something else, or is it because it's more than 4GB map ?

FAT32 file systems cannot have larger than 4GB files. Do you really need both parts at the same time??

I flashed the map using a extFAT, and the map installation successfully worked, the issue is that i cannot see and use the map with my gps.

do i need to unlock it or something else ?

Yes, i would like to get both files at same times, as i often travel to belgium, france, lux etc...

NB: Right now, i reverted to 2021.20, this release contains a 3.9GB with full europe.

does the file "gmapprom(8926) North.rar" include everything in the picture or is it cut in 2 like the previous 2021.20?
