I have loaded the 4 files of City_Navigator_Europe_NT_2023_10 and when I want to unzip these RAR files, but it asks me for a password.
Now I'm blocked.
Same thing with the 3 files (9139) gmapprom (ALL West).

I have a Garmin Nuvi 205 with 2016 map, I tried to update it but I think I made I mistake.

Since I only need Portugal map, I download the folder "PC Install Locked" from here: new-maps/garmin-city-navigator-europe-2023-t22939.html#p187453

Then I ran "CityNavigatorEuropeNT2023.10Update" and opened Basecamp, then selected the area of Portugal and ran Mapinstall.

But I installed to the Garmin unit, not to the SD Card...

Will I have routing problems? Do I still have access to POI, etc?

If the map is working POI's will be fine.
The only reason I recommend using an SD card is if you end up with a corrupt map file on your device it can brick it ,with an SD card you just remove it and start again.
There was a Spain & Portugal regional map shared ,only copy /paste needed
