But there is something I do not understand.
I can't find the file "gmapdem1.img".
There are five files in the SID folder of the package. Why do I only use two?
By last (for now jaj), The ASR folder is not used? and "gmap3d.img"?

Thanks for the patience! (and for tolerating my frightening "English"...).


I was trying to keep it simple,You can add the ASR files if voice command is important to you,pretty sure this model does not use 3D buildings
I've added the gmapdem.img just change its name to gmapdem1.img so it does not clash with the one on the device.
You will have to create an unlock file with Garmin Unlock Generator for the SID\D3384250A.sid SID\D3384250A.unl

"South America DEM" does not seem to work even though appears on the "mismapas" menu, but it is not visible on the map ...
Which can be the causes?

I already found the answer, 3-D Buildings and terrain are characteristics of Drivesmart 65, but no of Drivesmart 61. It seems...

Please note the DEM file contains the Digital Elevation Model data. Compatible devices will show terrain elevation on the map as shaded areas.
The 3D file contains characteristic buildings and landmarks. Also only shown by compatible models.

Try this one,
D3568240A(212x234 SVG)PhotoReal.rar,if it works it will look stretched out as it should be 480x270 SVG but I don't have an older device for SAm

Thank you for the suggestion, but unfortunately it does not work. I simulated a route near Sao Paulo. For the duration the Junction View should be displayed, the screen goes totally black. I took a screenshot:

Is this due to the difference between vector and raster JCV images?

Don't think so as D3568240A.jcv is SVG like other JCV for nüvi 7x5 and nüvi 13xx 14xx

Now I come to think of it... I kept backups of SAm back until version 2017.10. Curiously, none of them have JCV for nüvi 7x5 / 14xx. Maybe it does not even exist???
