gmap folder is for mapsource for pc
to view all map in pc
image is for nuvi/gsm
unlock is like lock just unlocked with some program
unlock just copy .. lock need to be unlocked and then copy ;)

this not work for you ?
nuvi 600 read maps smaller than 2 gb

u'r right, sorry my bad -- I tried the gmap version and not the gmapprom.img, which is obviously the right one. Thanks!

download locked image .. unlock it with some program
then delete old img and copy new one
