Thanks Dowloading file from Bambam , Not sure how to go about getting this onto my windows ce 6 sirf5 atlas. But doingmy research now
@bambam is your image unlocked? do i have to do anything or can i just place them in maps location of my car gps windows ce 6?

Hello Guyz..

Can you please help me out. my brother sent me Garmin NUVI 40LM with US maps. Currently I'm located in Saudi. I have downloaded the "City Navigator Middle East & Northern Africa NT 2014.30" file. but cant figure out how to install it. When I try to install using InstallMaps. It says no unlocked maps for this device.

Please suppport.

Simply copy unlocked img file (gmapsupp.img) into folder Garmin on µSD card.

Dear I copied the *.img file to Garmin folder on the device, still it says " you don't have detailed maps" on switching on the device. Please guide me. Thank you.

does your structure look similar to this?

it would be slightly different but not much as i am using it on win ce6
but seriously garmin is the easiest to use.

Thank you guys, I have successfully installed the maps now. I downloaded the "MapSource with .msi installer:" files and installed using that.

Is anybody using Garmin Live Traffic Middle East via Garmin Smartphone app subscription? Im finding it not accurate at all. Anybody has any experience?
