Thanks FireFox, i have the below files already in place:
gmapbmap.img
gmapbmap.sum
gmapprom.gma
gmapprom.img
gmapprom.sum
gmapprom.unl
gmaptz.img
gmaptz.sum

and i downloaded from here these files:

gmapsupp.img (new map update)
gmap3d.img (enabling 3d)

shall i paste these files in?
shall i rename any file?
shall i delete/ replace any file?

please advice... appreciate your kind response.

Thanks all, the trick missing which i didn't know is going to settings on the GPS device, then go to Maps option, then de-select old map name and select new map name.

these files are relative to default Map your Nuvì come equipped, maybe as LifeTime account (I suppose Western Europe NTU, or North America):
gmapprom.gma
gmapprom.img
gmapprom.sum (you can delete this, it's meaningless)
gmapprom.unl

these files are relative to World Base Map
gmapbmap.img
gmapbmap.sum (you can delete this, it's meaningless)

the new Map you downloaded (CN MENA) should be installed as additional Map.
You can put it in folder \Map, if you have sufficient space in internal memory of the device, otherwise you can use an external SD (folder \Garmin or \Map)
If you consider this Map as the main Map you can replace it at the existing Map in folder \.System (renaming it in gmapprom.img)

The file gmap3d.img is useless for your device

Hello Friends. Thank you so much for sharing this map. Unfortunately I do not know 100% how to install it onto my Garmin NuLink 1695.
Can I copy onto my microsd card ? \Garmin\gmapsupp.img
