While a torrent would be most convenient because of very little effort and big result, it would be nice if one does not only beg but is willing to take a longer road to achieve something for free.

My French Map works like a charm. 150 and more download & install until now, no issue.

This is from nuvì ...


You have to review your way:
1) Bad download file
2) Wrong positioning in memory/SDcard
3) Wrong Map naming

If you want help, tell me:
1) Which model of Nuvì are you using
2) Where and How have you put the Map

Remember that if you have installed another City Navigator NT with larger Coverage, You don't see French Map in the Installed Maps list.
You have to rename or move the other Map to see this
