Hi @GarminNuvi sorry noob question, I got a Suzuki car for my daughter and the maps are way out of date and the latest maps available are 2021. Would these maps work still on this car? Here is the start of the xml file, I can provide the full one if this is possible?

<Device xmlns="http://www.garmin.com/xmlschemas/GarminDevice/v2" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:dtlx="http://www.garmin.com/xmlschemas/GarminDeviceExtensions/DataTypeLocation/v1" xsi:schemaLocation="http://www.garmin.com/xmlschemas/GarminDevice/v2 [Please Register or Login to download file] [Please Register or Login to download file] [Please Register or Login to download file] ">

<SoftwareVersion>410</SoftwareVersion>

Make a copy of your garmindevice.xml and put it into my [Please Register or Login to download file] then we can see if it might work.

I've had a play around with various options to get all the files.
The latest version I can get for OEM is 2019. Two options gmapprom.img unlocked with .unl Unlock code and gmapprom.img unlocked with gimgUnlock tool

Play at your own risk I do NOT have any experience with this head unit.
I would really consider looking at buying the original NZ$140 is comparatively good value, but if the latest available is 2021 that's not good.

Thanks for looking into this, guess 2019 is better than 2013. Would be nice to get the the latest maps working for my daughter who is new to driving, odd that garmin doesn't offer any recent. There are a number of new roads around us so it is not worth getting the 2021 maps

Agreed at least it would include the Waterview Tunnel as it has changed the way people move N & S of Auckland.
The Jap importers swap the Head units out with android including GPS.

Hi,

Can you please provide instructions for installing this on Nuvi 3760?

I used the zipped file for PC and used basecamp to transfer the maps on to the device. The issue is, on the device if I unselect the old maps and only select this latest one, the details are not displayed. eg. roads are not displayed, same with speed limits. If I select the 2024 map along with the latest map, everything get displayed as it should. Which makes me think that the device is using the old maps.

Any advise how to overcome this issue?

Your device is an Advanced series so using Mapsource or Basecamp only creates the map, you are missing out on great features.
Download from post #1 unpack change gmapsupp.img to gmapprom.img
gmapsupp.rar
gmap3d.rar
DEM
JCV.rar
SID.rar
SQLite nuvi 37xx
Then copy to the .system folder on the device as per the picture ,the new files should overwrite the old files.
If you are still seeing the old version Download [Please Register or Login to download file] it will give you a safe way to remove old maps

Hi,

I have downloaded the files you had mentioned and unzipped the archives. My folder structure looks similar to what is in your image except for the folder SID that I have on mine and is not there in yours. Is it needed?

The current files in the .System folder on the device are as follows:
[Please Register or Login to download file]

and the System folder that I have created for uploading to device is as follows:
[Please Register or Login to download file]

Does this look right?

PS : I am sorry I don't know how to attach images to the post.

You do not upload the .system folder only the 3 .img files to the .system folder and put the files in their existing folders SQLite & JCV

I am unable to copy files as the device is running short on space. Are there any files that can safely deleted from the .system folder?

BTW, the link for JaWaVa Device Manager returns 404.
