My initial impressions of the Navteq maps is not favourable. On my nightly drive from Blacktown to Penrith (Sydney) I noticed the following.

1. The suburb of St Clair was spelt as "St Claire"
2. Speed zones that changed over a year ago, have not been updated within the new Navteq maps.
3. Routing seems to be out. Tried to send me on the shortest physical distance route as opposed to the shortest driving time route.

I am using a Nuvi 1390T with the current firmware and a GTM25.

Regards to all

Hi Colint,

Same here. I am not impressed by the Navteq maps too. On my way from Bankstown, the maps (suggested) me to go via a ONE-WAY street and I also tried routing for shorter distance, which is not accurate.
