yea, ive tried to wipe device and upload with newer version, however it shows the device only has few gb left, and the old maps/data isnt accessible in order for me to format it, so im able to make space to link garmin express and update as such. I'ce simply linked the device to my computer, registered it and tried to update. However i left it on over night for 8 hours and it was still at 0 %. ive tried booting in safe mode etc and repeat process. no joy. any ideas mate?

I hope you didn't just try and delete files from your device to create space as that is a bad idea ,do not format it either.What maps and version show on the device in Maps .
Didn't Garmin Express ask you to use an SD card ?
