From navman unlocked...

Navman F20, F30, F40, F50, iCN 320, iCN 330, iCN 650

These devices do not have a Windows CE core. Unlocking is therefore not possible.

I'm wondering if he couldn't use this to see his Navman device [Please Register or Login to download file]

If it works for you to see your device, then you could try this but please be aware that it is only speculation! http://www.navitotal.com/showthread.php?8816-Mio-3.3-unlock-modified-for-use-w-Primo2 Back up your internal files first, delete them and copy/paste these Mio internal in their place.

Please be also aware that is your device and you have the final refusal. It is possible that doing this will brick your device.

@funkoligy

If you're going to put your device in a drawer and forget it, why not try post #4? Post your results.

EDIT: May not work with Windows 7. It's called Windows Mobile Device Center.

Ok I tried Windows mobile Device Centre and it installed ok but when I went to find device windows still did ot see navman. Nice try guys and thanks for the effort. I also found on line navman service pack for windows 7 and navdeck to see root menu of navman and they both failed to see root menu. I guess its a bit like new tomtoms.

Gotta have your device plugged into to activate the device center to finish the process. I think you need to plug the device in and turn it on first.

EDIT: Look at the help [?]. It says something about network.

Google is my friend....
The only simple secret to make your device recognise any sd card as it is the original is that we copy the "NAVMAN" folder for example in the sd card as also the file Source.txt.
Then you must edit the Source.txt file and there where it says the Par NUM: SW007185B for example, we copy the part number of your device which is located at the backside of the device written on a grey tab...not the barcode..
then you save the file and have a nice day!!!

The device checks this number when you power on and it will recognise it as it is the internal memory or something like this.

But that is all in terms of "hacking" ...
Since the Navman maps can't be cracked it will still leave you with the problem of finding a software to run on it.
