Update your bootloader to 5.5022

still not working.

I do these steps:
1) format CF card
2) unzip archive with navcore to CF card
3) run navi - ttgo.bif is created
4) copy map folder, meta file a fastactivate (1.6.2016)
5) run fastactivate as administrator
6) 2-patch maps, voices,... - Europe-100933.meta.dcf created
7) quit fastactivate
8) run navi - start stuck

If this is not working then back to basic
Delete everything from the 910
*) Update the device with TomTom Home to the latest navcore 7.903 (sometimes in 2 steps)
Start your 910 till the announcement No Map found.

First try a small map i.e.
Benelux_980_7971
maps-v9xx-f179/980-map-collections-only-t19323.html

1) Make a backup of your Device and delete the map.

Copie the chosen map to your Device in his own folder.
If you open the map you see the loose files and probably a folder (brand).
Not a map in a map.

2) Copy "FastActivate.exe" to your TomTom device in the root
topic14003.html
Run "FastActivate.exe".
Select 2 and 3
Wait for the announcement navcore Patched.

Done

If this works try the map Europe_980_7991

Don't forget guys that in order to use cards larger than 2GB with the new bootloader the device needs to successfully boot with a card no larger than 2GB.

I expect not becourse it is written in the txt file from the bootloader (post 438)

Can you provide the first two characters of the serial number?

The 3 x links to download this navcore are working fine.

Just make sure you do a full backup before you proceed. If you use an SD card instead, you can experiment and install a much larger map with advanced features as well.

Actually, your current navcore is fine and will let you use any maps that we have a meta code for.
Your problem is the map you've got installed at the moment is a limited features map, so you can update that to a newer fully featured map with ALG etc

However, first you should backup the entire device using Windows Explorer (showing hidden files and folders) and then install [Please Register or Login to download file] and let it fully update the navcore for you.

After that you can look into a new fully featured map that will suit your needs for EG: Europe_South 980.7895 or maybe Europe 980.7895 if you have the space available
