I'll take a new map & navcore, plus the few seconds it takes to enter the workaround, any day over a 2 1/2 year old map plus the few seconds it takes to make a keyboard entry.

I know what you mean, the older map hasn't really put me wrong though - sure there's bits where it thinks I'm in a field, but not being an idiot you know where it wants you to go :)

I just wish there was something that could be done to the newer navcore???

Not sure if I understand the problem with the entering of vehicle dimensions correctly because:
a) I do have a "." in my keyboard.
b) I have no problems entering let's say 10.45m for the lenght.

I took the time to install the entire truck system on my TT for testing purposes as it seems a lot of people have these keyboard issues but I am unable to replicate them.
Here is what I did:
Used the 9.702 from my installer and installed the GO version on my 730.
Added my old 2GB truck map (only had that one left on the PC).
Added FastActivate to generate the DCT files for the map.
Started the TT and selected "Truck" profile.
Entered all dimensions with any value, inculding the DOT.
So I would say if anything than there is a problem with the new maps but not the Navcore.

I use feet and inches - being English ;) - and that's where the issue is, I've no idea on Metres, I'm English

Most trailers I've ever pulled have been in feet and inches, and bridges in the UK must either be in Feet and Inches, or Feet and Inches and Metres.. They can't be in Metres only

Should be no problem if you use my installer - it has a version for the X10 series included.

No, you are wrong. Your Navcore 9.702 Autoinstaller is faulty. I have opened a topic, and by today I can confirn that, the 9.702 is wrong. Nothing wrong with the map(apart from small errors)
